  from "The Albany Knickerbacker News", 7 Jun 1943 (fultonhistory.com) William C. Satterlee, 53 died of a sudden heart attack at his home in Niverville yesterday. Husband of the late Caroline Van Allen Satterlee, he had been employed as paymaster at the Albany office of the Delaware & Hudson Railroad Company. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruth Van Nostrand, Middletown, and two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Face and Mrs. Catherine Allen, Niverville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the home, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Niverville.
