HANCE BERRY
MOUNTAIN VIEW - Memorial services will be held Tuesday for Hance Berry, an apartment house manager, who died Friday at El Camino Hospital of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Berry, 74, managed the Fayetteville Arms Apartment House in Mountain View. He previously owned a grocery store in Palo Alto. He was a native of Amherst, Nova Scotia. He was a member of Palo Alto Host Lions Club, Palo Alto Lodge 1471, BPOE; Islam Shrine, Scottish Rite of Free Masonary of San Jose and Thunder Bay Lodge 618, AF&AM. Surviving are his wife, Marion Berry of Mountain View; and two sons, Lloyd Berry of Redwood City and Nelson Berry of Orland; and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. At Roller & Hapgood, 980 Middlefield Rd., Palo Alto. Contributions to the Lions Eye Founndation, 2340 Clay St., San Francisco, or P.O. Box 976, Palo Alto, are preferred.
