MRS. L.L. COPELAND
The death of Mrs. Cornelia Mullen Copeland, wife of Leonard L. Copeland, occurred Wednesday afternoon at the family home, No. 115 West Third street, after the illness of several weeks. Mrs. Copeland was a native of Scriba, and lived there most of her life. The family moved to Oswego fifteen years ago. and since then made this city their place of residence. Mrs. Copeland's parents, Mrs. and Mrs. John Mullen, were pioneer residents of the town of Scriba. Mrs. Copeland attended the M.E. church in Scriba, but did not affiliate with an Oswego church. She was a devoted wife and mother, and contributed to the ideal home life of the Copeland family. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. William Metcalf, and a son, John Copeland, all of this city; and two brothers, Daniel and Charles Mullen of Scriba. Mary friends and neighbors unite in extending sympathy to those bereft. Funeral services have not been definitely arranged, but will probably be held Saturday afternoon at the family home.
