  WINTHROP, May 19 - A high mass of requiem was celebrated today by Rev. James I. Carroll at St. John the Evangelist Church for Henry E. Hayward, 91, of 21 Grovers av., who died Saturday. He was the oldest member of Boston Lodge of Elks and believed to be the oldest Elk in the country in point of membership. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. William Clarke of Grovers av. and Mrs. Catherine Stevens of Commonwealth av., Boston. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
