ROBERT C. HINKEL
Robert C. Hinkel, 90, of Carmel died yesterday at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Born Dec. 4, 1904, in San Francisco, he had lived in Carmel for 50 years. He attended the University of California at Berkeley and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. He worked for the San Francisco Stock Exchange for many years. He was a member of Carmel Masonic Lodge No. 680 F&AM, the Loyal Order of Moose No. 876, the Carmel's Northeast Neighbors Association. He is survived by his wife, Joy; and a stepson Richard Pitschka of San Juan Bautista. At his request, no services will be held. Cremations will be held at the Little Chapel by-the-Sea in Pacific Grove, followed by inurnment at El Carmelo Cemetery. The Paul Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
