      Arthur Baker, Pekin farmer, recovered a verdict of $2,500 against Fred O. Wethy at Niagara Falls for alienation of affection. She was employed by Wethy as housekeeper.

      PEKIN WOMAN DIES
      MRS. ARTHUR BAKER PASSES IN BUFFALO HOSPITAL AFTER LONG ILLNESS
      PEKIN, July 22 - Mrs. Alice E. Baker, wife of Arthur Baker, of Pekin, died in the Buffalo City hospital yesterday following a long illness. She was 69 years old and was a natIve and lifelong resident of Pekin. Besides her husband, Mrs. Baker is survived by three sons, Parker, Roy and Ralph, and a daughter, Marie, of Pekin; her mother. Mrs. Margaret Parker, of Pekin, and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Roberts, of 8anbom. Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. tomorrow at the home of her mother here. Burial will be in Mt. View cemetery.
