Funeral services for Paul S. Hough of Bradford, well known former resident of this community, who passed away Saturday at Methodist Hospital in Peoria, following a brief Illness, were held at the Princeville Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment was in Princeville cemetery. Paul Simpson Hough was born at the family home in Akron township east of Princeville, on October 7, 1904 and died at Methodist hospital, Peoria, on March 4. 1939, aged 34 years, 4 months and 25 days. He was the son of John and Rose Klepfer Hough, the second of three children. His mother passed away when he was a small child. Paul attended the Morrow district school and Princeville high school, being graduated form the latter with the class of 1922. He united with the Princeville Presbyterian church on April 8, 1928, which he was regular in attendance until his removal to Bradford in 1934. He was united in marriage to Miss Nellie Mae Giffin at Princeton, Ill., on February 14, 1934. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Hough moved to a farm a short distance south of Bradford, where they since resided. Mr. Hough is survived by his wife; his father, John Hough and stepmother, Mrs. Florence Pullen Hough of Princeville; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Hough Adams of Princeville and Mrs. Rosene Hough Bloeser of Oak Park, Ill. and a host of other more distant relatives and a large circle of friends.
