  from Obits from "The Athens Daily News/Banner-Herald" (Clarke Co. GA) Jerome E. Emerson, 70, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998. A native of Lockport, N.Y., he was a son of the late J. Everett and Miriam Mabbett Emerson. He had lived in Bogart since 1996. He was active in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Choir. No funeral services are scheduled. Survivors include his wife, Alice C. Emerson' three sons, Eric Emerson, Dunwoody, Marc Emerson, Griffin, and John Emerson, Lawrenceville; and two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
