  From Newspaper Obituary DEATH OF MRS. JARDINE On Tuesday evening last there passed peacefully away to her final rest, Mrs. Rachel Jardin, relict of the late John Jardine, of Dundas, Ont., and mother of Mrs. Tronson Draper, of this town, in her 76th year. Deceased had been a resident of Petrolia for the past twenty years, living almost continuously with her daughter, Mrs. Draper, during which time she had endeared herself to all with whom she came into contact. Gentle, kind and loving, she will leave a gap in Mr. Draper's household that will be keenly felt and long deplored by Mr. Draper and family. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon and was largely attended by sorrowing and loving friends.
