  from "The Batavia Daily News", 9 Sep 1895 (fultonhistory.com) The death of Mrs. Adelaide E. Dewey, wife of Henry Dewey, occurred Saturday at her home, about three miles north of Churchville. She was 51 years old and was the daughter of the late J. Marcus Emerson of Riga. She is survived by her husband and one brother, George Emerson, of Riga.
