AGED PHYSICIAN DIES IN CARLTON
ALBION, Feb. l - Services were held this morning at the Grinell Funeral Home for Dr. Alfred William Jackson, 83, who died Monday at the Young Convalescent Home, Carlton, after a long illness. Burial will be in Hamilton, Ont. A graduate of New York University and the University of Buffalo Medical School, Dr. Jackson had practiced medicine here for more than 40 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Albion, a charter member of the Gasport Lodge of Odd Fellows and a member of Albion Lodge 97. He is survived by his wife Mary Anna Jackson of Albion, one daugnter, Mrs. A. Mead Stebbins of Silver Creek a son; Dr. John A. JackSon of Albion: a sister, Miss Bertha S.T. Jackson of Winona, Ont., and a brother. David John Jackson of Calgary, Manit.
