      Fred J. Woods, 58, of 709 1/2 Perry street, Davenport, who for many years was parts manager for the Warren L. Langwith Co, died suddenly at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday in Sterling, Colo., while vacationing in that vicinity. A resident of Davenport the last 31 years, Mr. Woods was born in State Center, Ia., Dec. 3, 1892. His marriage Margaret Schwartz took place in Davenport. During World War II, Mr. Woods was employed at Rock Island arsenal. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Davenport lodge No. 198, BPOE; American Legion post No. 26; Scott County Vouture No. 77, 40 & 8, and Davenport aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles, No. 235. Surviving inclide his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Sanderman, Malcolm, Ia., and Miss Grace Woods, Grinnell, and three brothers, Dr. Laird Woods, Springfield, Mo., and Graham Woods, Davenport. The body will be removed to Hill &Fredericks mortuary in Davenport
