Joseph Danfer and Frederick Nicholas were arraigned on a charge of burglary in the third degree. They are two boys, aged respectively twelve and fourteen years, and were arrested for being connected with two others in the burglary at the house of Freeman E. Jones, on Atwater street, about a fortnight ago. They were examined before Justice Wegman, and discharged on account of their extreme youth, and indirect agency in the affair. The other two boys were send to the House of Refuge. They were indicted by the last Grand Jury, and counsel assigned to them by the court.

This morning at 11 o'clock the prisoners convicted at the present term of the Court of Sessions were brought up and sentenced as follows. In but few instances had the prisoners anything to say why sentence should not be pronounced against them. Some of them declared their innocence even after they had pleaded guilty to the indictments found against them:

Monroe - Rochester: Frederick Nicholas on Monday, was blown from the top of a high pile of lumber in Morse's lumber yard. His skull was fractured and he was not expected to live.
