HATHEWAY, Valentine J. Sr., of Hayward, March 2, 1969, husband of the late Edna Hatheway; loving father of Valentine J. Hatheway Jr. of Dublin, Francis E. Hatheway of Oakland and Gerard s. Hatheway of Hayward; loving grandfather of eight grandchildren. A native of Vallejo; aged 81 years. Friends are invited to attend the funeral from Sorenson Bros. Chapel, 1140 B Street, Hayward, Wednesday, March 5 at 8:30 a.m. thence to All Saints Church where a Requiem Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul commencing at 9 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary at the mortuary Tuesday at 8 p.m. Internment, Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Vallejo.
