  from "The Niagara Falls Gazette", 25 Jul 1952 H.C. Ketcham, Former Middleport Man, Dies MIDDLEPORT, July 25 - Word was received here today of the death of Herbert C. Ketcham, 81, a former resident of Middleport, who died Monday at his home in Salisbury, Md. Mr. Ketcham is survived by his wife, Nettie Le Bar Ketcham; one son, Jon C. Ketcham, Sr., and two grandchildren, Charlotte and John C. Ketcham, Jr., of New York City. Mr. Ketcham was a resident of Middleport for several years, and was a member of the Jackson-Ketcham company, which cleared and brought under cultivation, the muck land in Peet street, south of Middleport, now known as the Royalton Farms Co., Inc.
