ELKHART - Services for James S. Murray, 89, of 56086 County Road 13, who died at 8 p.m. Friday in Elkhart General Hospital after an illness, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, Clearwater, Fla., where friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Skyvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Elkhart. Mr. Murray was born in Jan. 9, 1897, in Blythedale, Pa. He married the former Blanche Baker, who died in 1976. Surviving are a daughter, Helen Free of Elkhart; a son, Robert E., of Joplin, MO.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death. He was a sales manager for the Consolidated Coal Co., Pittsburgh, Pa. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin, Fla., and was a World War I Army veteran.
