Cecile (Sue) Posel (née Cecile Rosenberg)
Suddenly and peacefully, on Friday, May 7, 2021, in her ninety-third year. Much loved wife of the late Bernard Posel for fifty-six years. She leaves behind her loving children, Nancy (David Rosenzveig), Irwin (Lucia Fabijan), David (Robert Thouin), her cherished grandchildren, Courtney Posel (Steven Bento), Joseph (Joey) Posel, Erin Rosenzveig (Michael Meredith) and Alicia Rosenzveig. They were the lights of her life. Wonderful great-grandmother of Henry Bernard Meredith and Emerson Abraham Bento. They will not remember her, but will know her through many stories that will be shared in the future. Daughter of the late Margaret Bloom and the late Isaac Rosenberg, daughter-in-law of the late Esther Rusk and the late Alter Posel. Predeceased by her sister, Golda Erman. Sue is survived by her sisters-in-law, Rita (the late Jack Posel) and Rita (the late Irving Vosberg and Teddy Rudner). She was very special to all of them. Sue will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, her many dear friends and numerous bridge partners. Special thanks to Marlene and Sandra who took such good care of our mother, particularly in the last year when they were her sole companions. We will remember her with love and mourn her passing. She was a kind, gracious and gentle lady who always thought the best of everyone. A private graveside service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
