Armstrong, and beloved mother of the late Mrs. J.H. Swaim and William G., R.B. and Kate Armstrong and Mrs. C.B. Slocum, a native of Alabama, aged 80 years, 2 months and 18 days [calculated birth date is 20 Sep 1822]. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to the attend the funeral Thursday, December 11, at 11 o'clock, from her late residence, 4202 Twenty-fourth street. Interment private. Mount Olivet Cemetery.
