MRS. Wm. TRUSLOW HYDE, Jr.
Committal services were conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Jackson L. Cole rector of Christ Episcopal church, at the Hyde plot in Lakewood cemetery for Mrs. Mary R. Hyde, aged thirty-two, wife of Wiliam Truslow Hyde, Jr., who died suddenly Wednesday of last week in White Plains hospital of pneumonia, following an apparent recovery from influenza. Her illness was of only a day's duration. Funeral services were held in the Hitchcock Memorial church Scarsdale, Saturday, and the funeral cortage reached Cooperstown Saturday evening, and the body reposed in Christ church chapel until the committal. Mrs. Hyde was the forer Mary Robertson, daughter of Norman T. and Lilla W. Robertson of Indianapolis, Ind. She was born in Montclair, N.J., and graduated in 1932 from Sarah Lawrence college, Bronxville. Her marriage to William Thuslow Hyde, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Hyde of Cooperstown, occurred Jun 21, 1932, in Scarsdale which had since been their home. Mr. Hyde is connected with the brokerage firm of Josephthal & Co., New York. Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Carolyn T. Hyde, the parents, and a sister, Mrs. Marvin T. Young of Scarsdale.
