A Baptist Church was formed in the village [Ware] in 1846, over which Rev. Amory Gale, a graduate of Brown University, was ordained, Nov. 11th, of that year. He was dismissed in the winter of 1850, and was succeeded in September, 1850, by Rev. Mr. Bullard, who remained two years. In April, 1853, Rev. George E.
