      Charles Weaver Perkins, residing South Butler, Wayne, NY, born 1 Jun 1845 in Rustand NY to Albert Perkins, a farmer, & Dorcas Carpenter, enlisted as private on 2 Jun 1864 in 111 Reg Co A. In Gen Grants Campaign from Wilderness to Petersburg. Wounded Jan 11 1864 before Petersburg. Returned home and died from effects of his wounds 13 Jul 1864.
