William James (George, William, Francis, Jacob, Isaac, John, John) was born in Boston, Mass., March 27, 1835. He married Louisa Merritt Baker, Oct. 27, 1861. She was the daughter of Darius and Harriet Baker, of Dudley, Mass. She died March 4, 1879. He resides in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and is engaged in the manufacture and sale of wind-mills, to be used for hydraulic purposes; and in the purchase and sale of lands there.
