  from "The family of John Perkins of Ipswich, Massachusetts" Robert (Jacob, John, John) was born in Ipswich, Mass., and baptized Oct. 21, 1695. He married Elizabeth Douton, and was published Oct. 25, 1718. He was a fisherman, and resided in Ipswich. He, with his brother Westly, sold land near Sagamore Hill, which came from his father's estate. Nov. 25, 1721. He, with wife Elizabeth, quitclaims "to loving brother-in-law, Joseph Holland, land that was formerly the estate of our deceased father, William Douton, mariner."
