Louis P. German, 58, a resident of the LeClaire hotel since moving here from Davenport seven years ago, died of a heart ailment at 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Moline public hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Wendt Brothers funeral home, the Reverend J.J. Levin officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. A resident of the Quad Cities since 1916, Mr. German was well-known throughout this area. He was employed as a salesman for the Warsaw Brewery of Warsaw, Ill., in this territory until he became ill four months ago. He was a member of the Moline Elks lodge. Mr. German was born Oct. 1, 1881, in Aurora, Ill., the son of mr. and mrs. John each German, and received his education in Oxford Ir., where he live for some time. He married Miller Marguerite Baker Oct. 15th, 1916 in Chicago and came to the quad-cities. Surviving are the widow; one son, John H. German of Moline, and two grandchildren.
