  from "The Davenport Quad-City Times", 3 Sep 1976 (ancestry.com) Funeral and graveside services for Milla Margaret Egan, 82, of 503 Clifford Drive, Akron, Ohio, formerly of Moline, were held Monday in Rosehill Park. Mrs. Egan died Saturday at Akron City Hospital after a brief illness. She formerly was society editor in the Moline office of the Daily Times, a predecessor to the Quad-City Times, and worked on the state desk of the Times in Davenport. Milla Baker, Hampton, married Mr. German, who preceded her in death. She married Dr. M.E. Egan who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Egan resided in Lake Geneva, Wis., a number of years before moving to Akron. Survivors include a son, John H. German, Akron; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
