    • From "The Van Wert Times", 26 Jun 1891 (Ohio History Connection Collection)
Frank Woods died at the home of his father, Dr. J.K. Woods, last Saturday morning, after a prolonged illness with consumption, aged about 22 years. He was an heroic sufferer and requested his mother and family not to mourn for him when he was gone. We hope poor Frank has found rest in the skies. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, after which the remains were taken to Greenville for burial.
