      SCRANTON --- Hazel I. Perkins, 94, Scranton, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at a Paola hospital. Mrs. Perkins was a homemaker. She was born Aug. 25, 1907, in Nebraska, the daughter of Jess O. and Bessie Haynie. She had lived in Scranton since 1963. She married Clarence Charles Perkins on July 14, 1925, at Council Bluffs, Iowa. He died Oct. 18, 1977. Survivors include a son, Orval E. Henry, Scranton; three brothers, Elmer Haynie, Fort Calhoun, Neb., Don Haynie, Hollingsworth, Mo., and Paul Haynie, address unavailable; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame. Burial will be in Burlingame Cemetery. Mrs. Perkins will lie in state from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
