DEATH OF MRS. BAKER
A little before 1 o'clock this morning, Mrs. Hester E., wife of Col. William R. Baker died of paralysis. She was in every respect a model woman, whose deeds of kindness and love will live long after. Scores of poor people who have been relieved from want and suffering by her generous hand have shed tears of genuine sorrow over her bier to-day. The funeral takes place to-morrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.
