  from "Genealogy and history of the Baker, Andrus, Clark, and Adams families", 1920 Frank Dike Baker was educated at the public school and took a course at Carlton College, Northfield, Minn. Graduating from there, he entered his father's factory in Sioux City, Iowa. At his father's death he took full management of the large clothing manufacturing plant there, increasing the size of the same and adding a branch factory at Lemars, Iowa.
