George T Baker was born 28 Oct 1876 in Rose MI to George Baker, a farmer b. CAN, and Frances Baker b. NY - from "The Bemidji Pioneer", 6 Jul 1909
George T Baker returned yesterday from an extended trip to Detroit, Mich., Chicago and other points. Mr. Baker was accompanied by Mrs. Baker, who remained in Minneapolis on the return trip for a brief visit with old friends. They visited Mrs. R.A. McDonald, a sister of Mr. Baker, at Walkerville, Canada, and also with Mrs. Burton Seeley of Pontiac, Mich., another sister of Mr. Baker. A stop was made in Chicago, where Mr. Baker met several eastern representatives and purchased a large stock of fall goods for his local jewelry store.
