      JOLIET, Ill., Feb. 3- Albert H. Day, for many years one of the most prominent and successful merchants in this city, died today at the residence of Thomas J. Stevens, Esq., age 56 years. For several years past Mr. Day has been insane, being confined a portion of the time in an asylum. He leaves considerable property. His estate here has been managed lately by a conservator. The deceased was also extensively engaged in the dry goods business in Peoria., where he has a fine store.
