Later she became housekeeper for Miller & Griswold, merchants of Hinsdale, N.H.; and then kept house for 'Squire Nevers, a lawyer of Northfield, Mass. She was a model housekeeper, noted for neatness and good order. She kept her son with her until he was old enough to work out, after which she kept house for a while in Northfield, her son providing for her. After his marriage, she went to live with him, and spent the remainder of her life there.
