Widow of Veteran Dies at State Soldiers' Home
Mrs. Honoria D. Baker, died Monday morning at the Soldiers' home, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Baker was born in Oswego, N.Y., January 18, 1843. She was married twice. Her first husband was Ira M. Rose and after his death she married George E. Baker. One step-son survives, William H. Baker of Hoopeston, Ill. The body was taken to the Rogers and Smith funeral home and will be shipped to Elkhart for burial.
