Humphreys, who sustained a severe fracture of the skull while at work at Wale's wood yard several weeks ago, has so far recovered from his injuries as to be able to take an occasional walk on the streets. The sight of his right eye was entirely destroyed, and although the other eye is affected, the sight is improving steadily.
