  from "The Daily Illinois State Journal", 12 Nov 1957 (genealogybank.com) Albert Richards, 77, of 600 S. 4th St., was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m. yesterday at St. John's Hospital where he was taken after apparently suffering a heart attack at his home. The resuscitator squad of the fire department was unable to revive the man. Coroner W.E. Telford will conduct an inquest. Mr. Richards was a retired druggist and formerly was employed by several local drug stores. He retired in 1931. He is survived by one brother, W.H. Richards, of Springfield. Remains were taken to the Thomas C. Smith's Sons Funeral Home.
