  From Jamaica Church of England Register Transcripts for Trelawny, Dec 25th 1821 Philip Perkins Born 9th January 1818 and Elizabeth Perkins Born May 25th 1821 Son and Daughter of Dr. W.F. Perkins and Henrietta his wife. From 6 Jan 1904 Toronto Star Obituary Lady Burton, widow of the late Chief Justice Burton, died yesterday at her residence, 68 D'Arcy street, aged 83 years. She was a daughter of Dr. Perkins, a Jamaica army surgeon. Five children survive: Mr. George F. Burton, barrister, Toronto; Mrs. Malcolm Macpherson of New Zealand; Mrs. Bain of Bolton Hall, England, and Mrs. Ferguson and Miss Burton, who were living with her at the time of her death. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 3 p.m. from "The County Families of the United Kingdom, Ed. 59" BURTON, Elizabeth Lady Dau. of Dr. Perkins, of Jamaica, and niece and adopted dau. of the late Col. Charles Cranston Dixon, of the 90th Regt. ; m. 1850 Sir George William Burton, who was called to the Bar in 1840, was a K.C. and Bencher of Osgoode Hall; raised to the Bench in 1874, and and made Chief Justice of the Province of Ontario in 1897, and was cr. Knt. 188, and d. 1901. - Oak Lodge, Toronto.
