HUSBAND A FELON. ABSOLUTE DIVORCE GIVEN. Religion, crime and law combined to make the suit for divorce of Mrs. Harriet M. Dellenbaugh, which was heard yesterday, of a different character those which grind daily through the separation mill. She is a Catholic and because of her religion her family objected to her getting a divorce in New York, when she determined she could never again live with her husband, Albert G.W.

  • Notes
    • from "Buffalo Medical Journal" in 1910
On February 11. 1910, Albert Dellenbaugh, late of Elm Street, Buffalo, pleaded guilty to the charge of unlawfully practising medicine, not having been registered, and was fined $250.00 in criminal term of Supreme Court before Justice White. This man was prepared to pay a much larger fine, but the justice thought $250.00 as a fit punishment to the crime. Dellenbaugh promised to leave the state and go to California.
    • From Texas State Journal of Medicine, 1920
Albert G. Dellenbaugh, of 855 Oakwood Boulevard, Chicago, plead guilty to an information filed against him in the Municipal Court in Chicago by the Department of Registration and Education of Illinois and was fined $25 and costs for violating the medical practice act. The records of the department at Springfield show that, in 1918, Dellenbaugh was arrested for writing a number of prescriptions as a physician which were filled at a drug store. The records also show that Dellenbaugh was arrested in San Antonio, Texas, in 1913, for violating the Texas Medical Practice Act, and that he was fined $50 and costs and was confined one day in jail. Furthermore, they show that Dellenbaugh was arrested for forgery in Boston, in 1909, for signing the name of a Dr. Gill to a death certificate. ? Jour. A. M. A., Nov. 22, 1919.
