Funeral Services for Mrs. Emma Richards
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon for Mrs Emma M Richards who passed away on Monday morning after a long illness. Many sorrowing relatives and friends attended. The beautiful Episcopal burial service was read by Dr A W Noel Porter of Trinity Episcopal church, of which Mrs Richards was a beloved and respected member for many years. The profusion of beautiful floral offerings sent by loving friends showed the respect and esteem in which Mrs Richards was held by all who knew her. The pallbears were all nephews of the deceased and were the same one who acted in that capacity for her beloved sister, Mrs. Claribel Carter, who passed away four years ago. The nephews are Herbert John and Thomas Carter, J S Graham, V J Hough and W A McDonald. A only daughter Miss Emma Richards is left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. Other relatives are Mrs. W. A. McDonald of San Jose and Mrs J S Graham of Mountain View.
