  from Julie Mulroy (findagrave.com) He was born about 1805 and died in 1854. He and his wife, Catherine (Mary Catherine Daley) and daughter Elizabeth left Ireland for Sydney, Australia, where they had two more children, and emigrated to San Francisco in 1849/1850. They settled in Santa Clara County in 1852 and Catherine is buried in San Jose.
