  from "The Saratogian", 5 June 1926 (fultonhistory.com) Word was received in Corinth yesterday of the serious illness, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Winchester, near Utica, of Mrs. Jennie Jacobie, formerly of Palmer. Mrs. Jacobie was for 26 years postmistress at the Palmer post office and also conducted a dry goods business in the building where the post office was formerly located at the corner of Palmer avenue and Sixth street. Her many friends in Corinth hope for her speedy recovery.
