      Alexander Miller, 3rd, eldest son of the foregoing Alex. Miller and Rebecca Baird, his wife, was born in Truro, May 8th, 1796 (being the same day that Truro Village was burnt). He was married to Sarah, daughter of John Faulkner and Janet Moor, his wife. (Sarah being the widow of the late James Perkins who was drowned from a fishing boat at Five Islands, and left a young widow and one daughter. This daughter is now the wife of Robert Cummings, and has two sons and one daughter). Alexander Miller and Sarah Perkins were married Dec. 19th, 1822. They had three sons and two daughters.

      Janet, The second daughter of Hugh and Janet Moor, was born in Truro, March 28th, 1765. She was married to John Faulkner. Sarah, their eldest daughter, was married to James Perkins, they had one daughter whose name was Sarah Ann. James Perkins was drowned down the bay, when engaged in fishing, about the year 1818. His widow was married again to Alexander Miller, December 19th, 1822. They had three sons and two daughters. Alexander Miller died May 31st, 1855.
