Mrs Catherine J Green, resident of Paris, Lamar, Tx, wife of S.W. Green, born 31 Oct 1844 in NY to Jacob Kipp b. Holland & Catrina Traner b. Holland, died on 3 Jan 1936 in Paris from hypostatic pneumonia following a hip fracture. Burial in Medina NY. Funeral survives for Mrs. Catherine J. Green, who died Friday night at 11.10 o'clock at St. Joseph's hospital, will be held Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Manton-Fry funeral home. The service will be conducted by the Dr. W.M. Wright, pastor of the First Baptist church. The body will be sent to Medina, New York, for burial. Mrs. Green is survived by one daughter, Miss Fanny Gilbert, with whom she made her home at 101 Clarksville street; one son, A.F. Gilbert of New Haven, Conn; one granddaughter, Mrs. Nelson Dunham of New Brunswick, New Jersey; and two stepdaughters Mrs. John Kees of Beatrice, Nebraska, and Mrs. Sylvia Ferrell. Mrs. Green, who was 81 years of age, had been suffering for the past six weeks with a broken hip. Born in New York in 1844, Mrs. Green lived in Medina for several years before coming here about eight years ago to make her home with her daughter.
