      CLAREMONT, Oct. 18 - A pleasant evening entertainment was held at the residence of Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Perkins at Walker's Wood recently on the eve of the departure of their daughter, Mrs. Joyce Jackson, wife of Mr. J.L. Jackson, Clerk of the Parochial Board of Clarendon, who is now in England reading for the Bar. Mrs. Jackson, who has gone to the U.S.A. hopes to be away for 12 months. Quite a number of her relative and friends were at the airport to see her off.
