  from "Massachusetts, Marriage Records, 1840-1915" (ancestry.com) On 21 Oct 1867 in Chelsea MA, Parker L Walker, 22, a regulator residing Salem MA, born Salem to Parker D & Margaret, married Arabella S Goldsmith, 19, residing Salem, born Salem to George W & Mary A. 1st marriage for both. from "The Boston Herald", 22 Oct 1917 (genealogybank.com) Mr. and Mrs. Parker L. Walker of 5 Winthrop street, Salem, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary yesterday with a reception to their friends both afternoon and evening. The Sough Congregational Church, at which Mr. Walker served as organist for 50 years continuously, presented the couple with flowers. When less than 11 years old he was organist at the Howard Street Congregational Church. A year later he went to the St. James Church. He was organist at St. Peter's Episcopal Church at the age of 13, and for six years after that presided at the organ at the First Baptist Church. April 2, 1865, he became organist of the South Congregational Church. Mrs. Walker was Miss Arabella S. Goldsmith of Salem, and the couple were married in Chelsea, Oct. 21, 1867. They had two children, a son, Fred Goldsmith Walker of Danvers, and a daughter, the late Mrs. Edward S. Little of Washington.
