Born March 31, 1917, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to John E. and Margaret Woods Myers, she married Howard D. Kellogg Jr. on Sept. 3, 1943, in Pittsburgh. He died July 26, 1996, in Henry. Surviving are two daughters, Katherine Dressel of Champaign and Elizabeth Kellogg of Fort Collins, Colo.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and Julliard School of Music in New York City. She sang on her own program on KDKA radio in Pittsburgh. A Peoria resident for more than 50 years, she sang for various community events and groups, often with her husband. She was a member of the choir of First Federated Church. She was a member of the Junior League of Peoria, Methodist Medical Center Service League, YWCA Auxiliary, Lakeview Museum, Symphony Guild, Amateur Musical Club, Monday Morning Music Club, PEO Chapter BX, Sigma Alpha Iota, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Friday Club.
