5227 | from "The San Franciso Call", 23 Sep 1903 (cdnc.ucr.edu) When the case of Minnie Stalker, a girl 18 years of age, charged with petty larceny, was called before Police Judge Fritz yesterday Edward Hansen, a young carpenter, stepped forward and told the judge that he had been keeping company with the girl for two months and was willing to marry her. He said they both belong to Petaluma, where the girl's father was a dealer in cattle. The Judge said he did not like to have the girl disgrace by convicting her of petty larceny and allowed her to go on her own recognizance so that she could go to her home in Petaluma and prepare for her wedding. A barber 45 of the 60 years he live here, Geraci owned and operated Geraci's Barber Shop at 462 Willow St. Friends said he had worked a full day at his shop Thursday and had not seemed ill. He was a native of San Francisco. Geraci is survived by his wife, Antonina; two sons. Joe and Sam Geraci; and six brothers and sisters. Brown, deceased, has been filed for probate. After provided for the payment of her just debts, the expenses of her last illness, funeral expenses, etc., she bequeaths her entire estate to her three children, Elizabeth Arnerich, William D. and Edward D. Brown. She nominated as executor William Feehan of San Francisco, to serve without bonds. William Feehan has filed his renunciation of the trust above conferred, and Elizabeth Arnerich has filed a petition for appointment as executrix and that she will be admitted to probate, being requested to do so by the other heirs. 5247 | From "The San Jose Mercury Herald" 24 Feb 1921 Funeral Services for Mrs. Emma Richards Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon for Mrs Emma M Richards who passed away on Monday morning after a long illness. Many sorrowing relatives and friends attended. The beautiful Episcopal burial service was read by Dr A W Noel Porter of Trinity Episcopal church, of which Mrs Richards was a beloved and respected member for many years. The profusion of beautiful floral offerings sent by loving friends showed the respect and esteem in which Mrs Richards was held by all who knew her. The pallbears were all nephews of the deceased and were the same one who acted in that capacity for her beloved sister, Mrs. Claribel Carter, who passed away four years ago. The nephews are Herbert John and Thomas Carter, J S Graham, V J Hough and W A McDonald. A only daughter Miss Emma Richards is left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. Other relatives are Mrs. W.
