  Funeral services for Miss Mary M. Woods, 72, of 146 South Water Avenue, Sharon, who died Thursday morning, May 7, 1953, following a heart attack, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Donald Sample funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time. Miss Woods was born on Jan. 3, 1881, a daughter of Lester and Mary Jane Groves, Woods, in Pymatuning Township. She was a graduate of old Clarksville High School and Fredonia Institute. After teaching in Pymatuning Township from 1901 to 1905, she went to Sharon and taught at old South Ward School until she retired in 1949. Miss Woods leaves two brothers, William Woods, at home, and Dwight Woods, Clarksville.
