  from "The Hartford Courant", 19 Jun 1992 (newspapers.com) Douglas S. Perkins, 66, of 71 Grove St., Clinton, died Tuesday (June 16) at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Hartford March 11, 1926, son of the late G. Richard and Ruth Smith Perkins, and had lived in Clinton for the past 20 years. Mr. Perkins was an engineer for Jet Propulsion Lab in California before retiring, and was a World War II Navy Veteran. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Carson of Russellville, AR. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 9 a.m., in Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main St., Clinton. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
