Mrs. Margaret C. Baker, a native of Washington, died March 8 in Denver, Colorado. Funeral services were held in that community. Mrs. Baker moved to Colorado as a child and was the widow of John Huntington Baker. Graveside services for Mrs. Margaret G. Baker, longtime Denver resident, were held Tuesday in Crown Hill. Mrs. Baker, who recently moved to Craig, died there Friday in a nursing home after a long illness. She was 99. She was born Feb. 26, 1880 in Washington, Iowa, and came to Colorado as a child. She married John Huntington Baker in Denver in 1903. Surviving are a son, John H. Baker Jr. of Denver; a daughter, Mrs. Owen P Dyar of Craig; a sister, MRs. E.E. Tuck of Los Angeles, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
