MIDDLETON, - Harold E. Baker, 71, 61 North Main St., formerly of Saugus, died suddenly Sunday at his home. He was the husband of the late Martha V. (Friberg) Baker. Born in Boston, he was the son, of the late Harry W. and Alice (Wood) Baker, He attended Malden schools and graduated from Malden High. During World War Il he served in the Army in Casablanca and Italy. He was a carpenter for many years for Warner-Lambert Inc. Cool Ray Division and was retired. He was a membér of William Sutton Lodge of Masons and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, both in Saugus. Mr. Baker leaves three sons, Richard E. Baker of Londonderry, N.H., Kenneth A. Baker of Everett and Robert L. Baker of Middleton and six grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., Danvers. - from "Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007" (ancestry.com)
